Hull, also known as Kingston upon Hull is a located on the River Hull in East Riding of Yorkshire, the combination of city attractions with both the surrounding countryside and the coast means Hull has something for everyone.
Historically, Hull was primarily an industrial based market town with most of the trade coming from the fishing industry and sea trade which included ferries to mainland Europe, two of which still run today. For those looking for a taste of the traditional Hull, freshly caught fish can be found in many of the fishmongers, most of which are based minutes away from the Albert Dock.
A lot of the tourist attractions are focused around the war and industrial history of Hull and can be explored in the countless museums across the city.
